The longest total solar eclipse on land this century passes almost directly over Luxor, with around 6 minutes 20 seconds of totality in the early afternoon. Luxor hotels for that week will fill early, so our 8-day eclipse tour books its rooms in advance.

Not for day tours or airport transfers. You pay on the day. For packages that include hotels, domestic flights or a Nile cruise, we take a deposit by bank transfer so we can book those for you, and the rest is paid when you arrive in Egypt.
Almost all of our tours are private: just you, your guide and your driver. A few boat trips on the Red Sea are shared with other guests, and those are marked clearly on the tour page.
Yes. Every package can be made longer, shorter, more relaxed or upgraded to 5-star hotels. Send us your dates and we reply with a revised plan and price.
October to April is the most comfortable, with warm days and cool evenings. May to September is very hot in Luxor and Aswan, but the sites are quieter and we start sightseeing early to avoid the midday heat.
Most visitors need a tourist visa, which many nationalities can buy online before travel or on arrival at the airport. Check the rules for your passport before you fly. If you book an airport transfer, your driver meets you at arrivals.
